Brix Experience *
Brix Experience is an event space set in downtown Moncton. Having seen the award winning tourist map of Budapest I designed for a student project, they hired me to create a map for their own downtown core community in Moncton New Brunswick.

With nine icons and bilingual type, this map speaks busy, meeting the client’s vision to create a piece that attests to the growing diversity of the city, while still retaining east coast qualities found in the bold colour scheme, playful secondary icons, and straightforward typeface.

Winner of Grands Prix DU Design Awards, Student Category, Bronze, 2024.
This project was a study in illustration and design harmony. Inspired by Budapest’s rich bohemian history, I created a walking tour map that combines playful colors, bold typography, and original illustrations drawn directly from the city’s landmarks.
Every element was considered—right down to the legend’s background, which was patterned from an antique brooch once owned by a Budapest resident.
This design went on to win bronze in the international competition GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards, student section, 2024, based out of Montreal Quebec.
